- Introduction to the ArcGIS Server APIs
At 9.2, if you wanted to write ArcGIS Server-based web mapping applications you needed to be an expert .NET or Java developer and, more than likely, have an in-depth knowledge of SOAP, XML, AJAX and ArcObjects too. With the introduction of the Web APIs it’s now possible for people with only limited software development experience to create rich, functional and easy to use web mapping applications which make full use of the power of ArcGIS Server GIS services such as routing, geocoding and geoprocessing. Join us for two days to really dig into how these APIs work and get some hands-on experience with each to help decide which one is right for you.
