Higher Education Case Studies

Case studies are an excellent way of learning about what is working for other people in similar situations to you.  We have three case studies for the Higher and Further education sector – these are:

Kingston University (PDF, 3.13mb) - this case study demonstrates that the breadth and depth of GIS teaching benefits more than geographers. It also shows that the innovative use of GIS technology arms students with the right skills to be employable.

University College London [4.4mb, PDF] - this case study shows how ArcGIS is being used across various research projects, and demonstrates how the functionality of the ArcGIS suite supports UCL's work.

Bournemouth University [2.8mb, PDF] - this case study explains how GIS is being taught across multiple disciplines and shows why this is of value to the students and the department

Esri UK publish case studies focussed on many different industries.  To view more case studies click here>>
