ArcGIS Server
ArcGIS server provides a highly flexible enterprise infrastructure for sharing geospatial data that aligns well with the concepts of Network-Enabled Capability (NEC). By providing a single platform through which GEOINT can be authored, published, shared and consumed, ArcGIS enables more joined up decision making across both connected and disconnected communities.
The services-oriented architecture of ArcGIS server also enables the same intelligence to be more easily shared with other agencies and partners, supporting NEC's core objective of achieving true shared situational understanding.
As a Defence-wide infrastructure, ArcGIS is simultaneously able to support war fighting missions such as command and control or business missions such as installation management. The re-use of spatial data across a common spatial information infrastructure offers immediate cost savings in addition to important new capabilities.
With ArcGIS server you can:
- Create GEOINT once, use many times
- Provide situational awareness without the need for GIS understanding
- Easily reuse GIS applications or datasets
- Integrate GIS capabilities into existing applications
