Introducing NetworkAdvantage

NetworkAdvantage from ESRI (UK) is a unique software-based solution designed to streamline and join up the new connections process, internally and externally. Commercial or domestic, each new connection has one thing in common - a location. NetworkAdvantage exploits this by leveraging world-class geographic information system (GIS) technology, allowing new schemes to be more intelligently designed and positioned in relation to existing networks. Once created, the same underlying data is electronically shared with other internal functions and external third parties. The result is a far more efficient design and build process, with duplicated effort removed and turnaround substantially reduced.

Integrating and sharing this information has another critical advantage. NetworkAdvantage empowers your customer service staff to deal with enquiries much more effectively and efficiently. Simple connection requests have the potential to be assessed immediately, with scope to deliver the same information over the web, facilitating self-quotation and on-demand status updates. This frees up valuable service staff time for more complex or higher value requests, allowing the right level of service to be focused where it will have the most effect.

'The new system has substantially improved out working processes. Utilities is an increasingly competitive market place and it is essential that we have an IT infrastructure that not only allows us to compete effectively now, but also provides for future development and growth'. Graham Jenkins, Managing Director, Connect Utilities.
