The information management challenge

In common with many other large organisations, the Police Service generates and handles a vast amount of data, often through a variety of systems from different suppliers. Efficiently handling all this data can be a real challenge. ESRI(UK)'s GIS solutions provides a powerful platform designed to meet this challenge. Our approach can be described as a 5 stage process, at each stage enabling a force to fully exploit the power of its location-based data.
