About The Application

Developed as part of the London Congestion Analysis Project, the solution interfaces with traffic monitoring cameras and applies bespoke algorithms to quantify the impact of incidents and analyse the effectiveness of current traffic management strategies.

The application leverages the ArcGIS API for Flex and Bing Maps to provide users with access to visualised strategic network performance over the internet, making more than 2 years of processed data accessible and continuing to process a further 12 million camera detections a day, monitoring 1,200 road corridors across the Greater London area.
