Esri UK Hosts "Understanding Our World Zone" at Civil Service Live

Esri UK is taking a leading presence at this year’s Civil Service Live with an extensive interactive zone, “Understanding our World”, aiming to help Civil Servants discover new insights, with a geographic approach, and enable them to engage with intelligent maps that simplify complex issues.

Every day millions of decisions are powered by a Geographic Information System (GIS) and Esri UK has three Government partners on its stand: the Office for National Statistics, Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Department for Transport, who will all be talking about and demonstrating how they use GIS to deliver improved services and better outcomes.

Now in its fifth year, Civil Service Live is established as the largest gathering of civil servants in the country.  It brings together people from government departments, agencies and industry under one roof to learn, share, innovate and build relationships to address the challenges of delivering better public services for less, led by Head of the Civil Service Sir Bob Kerslake and Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood.

This year's Civil Service Live will be held at Olympia's National Hall in Kensington, between 3rd to 5th July,
