ESRI Developer Network (EDN)

*

EDN is an annual subscription-based programme that provides software developers with the resources needed to build solutions that embed our desktop and server technologies.

The objectives of the EDN programme include providing developers with tools that increase productivity and foster a collaborative environment, reducing the cost and complexity of doing GIS development, and providing maximum opportunities for developers on the ArcGIS platform.

The annual EDN subscription provides:

  • A library of software for developing and testing applications that includes:
    • ArcGIS Server
    • ArcGIS Engine
    • ArcIMS

  • A comprehensive help system is accessible via the EDN Web site. It includes
    • library documentation
    • a help index and search facility
    • code samples
    • object models

  • A collaborative developer Web site for use by both ESRI developers and programme subscribers

  • Additional benefits including the ability to download software and updates, developer preview releases, and future developer-focused events.

Additional Programme Features
