San Diego, CA – July 5, 2011 - 3-GIS, a GIS software development company based in Decatur, Alabama will exhibit in booth 2410 at the Esri International User Conference July 11-15 in San Diego California.

3-GIS broadens access to GIS for utility and telecommunications companies with technology driven software incorporating Esri’s ArcGIS® platform.  3-GIS will be demonstrating the following products in booth 2410; Network Express, Field Express and Command Center and will feature a new mobile application for Android and iPad.   3-GIS continues to expand its core software products Network Express and Field Express in exciting new directions for utilities worldwide, highlighting both telecommunication and inspection management toolsets which are leveraged through Esri’s ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Mobile based products. Working with business partners Esri and ESi, 3-GIS has released Command Center, an ArcGIS Server enabled Operational Picture and Situational Awareness solution for utilities, designed to process utility incident information and properly distribute this information both internally and externally to the proper personnel.  Furthermore, 3-GIS once again shows its commitment to staying on the leading edge of GIS technology by showcasing their Android and iPad application for Field Express.  Not only able to view GIS data, Field Express for Android and iPad can also EDIT both feature level and related record data.

“I’m really pleased to be presenting the Field Express App at the Users Conference this year,” said Tom Counts, President of 3-GIS,  “Each year, since the inception of 3-GIS, we have showcased leading edge solutions developed on Esri and this year is no exception.  Just as we pushed the boundaries with Field Express at our first Users Conference, this year we’ll be presenting Field Express App on the iOS and Android platforms that can even work in a disconnected (non-live) role.  Once again, 3-GIS is leading the way in advanced mobile and web GIS capabilities.”
