Key Features
Running on a standard MS Windows PC, ArcLogistics incorporates the following data and functionality:
Includes high-quality route network data (TeleAtlas) for the UK and Western Europe:
- Supports Courier type operations where the route involves both pick up and drop off points
- Respects vehicle navigation variables such as overpasses, underpasses, one way streets, speed limits, and turn restriction conditions.
- Imports your customer orders table from any mainstream database
- Tags each customer order with its geographic location based on an address search or specified locations
- Builds optimised delivery routes based on actual network drive times, not straight-line distances
- Creates on screen maps showing delivery locations, routes, and time windows.
- Allows you to set vehicle speeds over your street network based on real driver experience
- Can set a second time window for service and set a grace period within which an order can be serviced and still be considered on time
- Allows for second-day routing, which is helpful for companies who need to deploy their vehicles past midnight
- Takes into account speciality of vehicles and drivers.
- Outputs route summary reports, detailed drop zone and overview maps, street-level turn by turn directions and driver manifests.
- Integrates with Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning, (ERP), and other enterprise technologies.
- Can be extended to provide management information, sales territory planning and more by the addition of other ArcGIS modules.
