DigitalWorlds is an easy to use GIS based on Esri technology and suitable for a school just starting with GIS. It allows students to analyse data from the world around them, at a local, national or global level.
ArcView 9.3 is a more advanced GIS, completely compatible with DigitalWorlds. Once a school has become familiar with GIS, it may wish to progress to ArcView to allow students to carry out more sophisticated GIS analysis.
