Prime Contracting

ESRI (UK) has gained a great deal of experience in acting as Prime Contractor on a wide variety of projects.  We consider Prime Contracting to be a philosophy, a way of working and one that fits well within our culture of trust and communication. Prime contracting adopts many of the principles of partnering and integrated teams with its opportunities for risk sharing and target cost incentive mechanisms through to whole life cost models via the provision of managed application services and the ESRI Enterprise Advantage Program. 

We have significant experience of devising innovative solutions for parties who seek to agree in advance the terms of any future dealings between them.  The use of framework agreements, or call off contracts, can be useful for clients who have a recurring need for certain products and/or services over a particular period of time as it can avoid the cost of negotiating a new agreement on each occasion and recent experience includes the development of Framework agreements for both Ordnance Survey GB and the Environment Agency for the delivery of new support and development projects over the next 2 - 5 years.
