Reuters Foundation - AlertNet
The web site provides a unique, geocoded humanitarian related news feed where online visitors can search for stories by geographic region or retrieve digital maps showing locations where stories are taking place. The system provides a fast, efficient online method to discover where news is happening.
NOMAD - Nottingham Online Maps And Data
nomad is an ArcIMS website which allows you to view maps of the City of Nottingham and surrounding areas at various levels of detail, and add more information such as schools and libraries.
Staffordshire Past-Track
Staffordshire Past Track has been developed with the aim of enhancing access to collections of material that represent the cultural identity and community history of Staffordshire.
Ayrshire Housing Land Supply Information
Within this site it is possible to select an area of interest and view proposed housing areas with a varity of background mapping including OS MasterMap. To start select 'New Search'.
Edinburgh - Planning & Building Control Portal
This Planning and Building Control portal offers a range of online services, advice and guidance. Within this site you can follow progress on current applications. In addition you may view details of associated plans, guidance, review property details and request other services.
BucksMaps
BucksMaps provides an ArcIMS-based service enabling the public to view information on Planning, Community Facilities and other services provided in the County. BucksMaps is being hosted as a fully managed service by ESRI (UK)'s MapsDirect internet services group.
Westminster City Council
This ArcIMS site provides residents in the City of Westminster access through an intuitive map-based interface to locations of key services. Such locations include schools, libraries and other key points of interest including the area of the congestion charging zone.
MARIO - Maps & Related Information Online
Use this site to find your way around the County Of Lancashire. Lancashire County Council's ArcIMS-powered online mapping application won the CSS Information Excellence Award 2002.
Wiltshire & Swindon Pathfinder Map Data Browser
Residents in Wiltshire and Swindon can access a new range of local government services and data on the Internet. The initiative embraces modern internet mapping technology with land and property information as a gateway to council services and information.
Public Access at Sevenoaks District Council
ESRI (UK) and CAPS Solutions are pleased to announce the release of "PublicAccess Planning". PublicAccess enables members of the public to directly interact with and query live property and planning information held within the UNI-form system. This internet application is fully integrated with ESRI's ArcIMS internet mapping solution, which facilitates map based property searches.
MAIGIS
The Multi-Agency Internet Geographic Information Service (MAIGIS) is a three year pilot project to establish an interactive map based web service providing health and health related data at the regional level.
OS Electoral Role
This site has been developed by ESRI (UK) in partnership with Ordnance Survey, and is a free service which generates maps of all the local authorities and Parliamentary constituencies in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The AA Route Planner
Designed to handle 1 million maps a week, this ArcIMS site works with the AA's own routing engine to produce high quality maps with accurate directions gained from road signs and local buildings.
Public Rights of Way - in Devon
Devon County Council has re-opened around 90% of all rights of way outside the Infected areas following MAFF's latest Foot and Mouth Guidance. This ArcIMS site displays these "green for go" areas within the county.
ISIS - OnLine
The Royal Borough of Kingston Integrated Spatial Information System or ISIS-OnLine for short. You can find the location you are interested in by clicking on Find a Property.
DEFRA - Foot & Mouth Interactive Mapping
Updated daily to show restricted areas, this ArcIMS site recorded over 800,000 hits in it's first week.
DEAL (Digital Energy Atlas and Library)
The DEAL site is the definitive metadatabase for the oil industry, and intends to become a single virtual repository for UK data. The system is based on ArcIMS 3, SDE, ColdFusion and ORACLE 8i. The client viewer is HTML based.
British Geological Survey Geoscience Data Index (GDI)
The GDI is the work of generations of the country’s leading earth scientists. The GDI allows the casual user to see where, and in what form, information exists describing the land surface and sub-surface of Britain. The map is created using ESRI's ArcIMS software in conjunction with Solaris, Oracle and Coldfusion.
National Geographic MapMachine
The National Geographic MapMachine uses ESRI's new ArcIMS technology to present maps ranging from satellite imagery to street maps to help people better visualize and understand the world around them.
What's in Your Backyard (Environment Agency)
ESRI (UK)'s Internet Map Server software provided the mapping component which enables you to explore your local environment and query the conditions across a number of environmental criteria, from the national level right down to your local environment.
City of Sydney WebMap
Interactive mapping on this website allowed Olympic visitors to discover a wealth of information - from where they can park their car, to the route of the Torch Relay. The mapping is created using ESRI's ArcIMS software.
