Making it easier to use Esri UK Content Services

The UK Content app is a free Marketplace app that makes it easier to add Esri UK Free and Premium services to your organisation.

What content is supported?

The UK Content app automatically creates items for the maps and locators you have access to and adds these to a group to make further sharing with your organisation simple. The locators will be configured so that you can start using them straight away. See below for an overview of the services you can access.

  • Free map services

    Having an ArcGIS Online account gives you access to hundreds of free datasets. At Esri UK we have curated a number of free basemaps using OS Open Data. These are available directly in your basemap gallery. However. you can also add these to your ArcGIS Online account by using the UK Content app

  • Free locators

    Locators allow you to add a geographic location to your data. Addresses or place names in your data can be geocoded with the locators, allowing your data to be spatially displayed. Esri UK offer three free UK Locators; OS CodePoint Open, OS Open Names and the BNG Locator

  • Premium services

    Where you require further detail we offer our Premium Services which deliver the Ordnance Survey's high quality, premium mapping products over the internet. All of the Premium Services are available on an annual subscription basis
