Q. Is Productivity Suite supported with ArcGIS for Desktop 10.5?
A. Yes, version 3.4.6 of Productivity Suite has been tested in conjunction with ArcGIS for Desktop 10.5.

Q: How do I get the latest version of ProductivitySuite?
A: The latest versions of ProductivitySuite may be downloaded from the Esri UK website here.

Q: What versions are supported?
A: The Product lifecycle for ProductivitySuite may be viewed here.

Q: What databases are supported?
A: Microsoft SQL Server 2014, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g or Oracle 12c

Q: How do I install & license ProductivitySuite?
A: Detailed information on how to install ProductivitySuite may be found in the ProductivitySuiteInstallationGuide.pdf downloaded with the installation media. For further details of how to deploy ProductivitySuite silently, please see the following Esri UK Technical Support blog article: http://communityhub.esriuk.com/technicalsupport/2014/1/7/how-to-install-enable-and-license-productivity-suite-silentl.html

Q: How do I upgrade ProductivitySuite to a new version?
A: If the user is upgrading to ProductivitySuite v3.4.6 the installer will automatically uninstall any previous versions of the software as part of the installation process. For older versions of the software, the user will be required to first manually uninstall the old version of the software via the Control Panel utility, before proceeding with the installation of the new version of ProductivitySuite (ensuring compatibility with the version of ArcGIS for Desktop installed).

Q: After I upgrade ProductivitySuite, do I need a new licence file?
A: No, license files for ProductivitySuite are not version specific. As long as the current license file remains valid, there is no need to obtain a new one.

Q: I have received a Licence Information warning that my ProductivitySuite product support has expired, what should I do?
A: Firstly, it should be noted that the licence file is still valid and will continue to work. The message is to indicate that the organisations' maintenance for the ProductivitySuite software has expired and the organisation will therefore not be eligible for support related to this product until the maintenance is renewed.

Upon renewing the maintenance for ProductivitySuite, a new licence file will automatically be sent to the main contact for your organisation. You should contact them to request a copy of the latest ProductivitySuite license in the first instance.

If you are unsure of whom your main contact is, or you are the main contact and have not received a new license file after renewing your maintenance, please email ukproductkeycodes@esriuk.com for further help.

Q: How can I get help with ProductivitySuite?
A: All the menus within ProductivitySuite have context sensitive help which is accessed by selecting the Help button.

Q: I receive an error that the software is "Unable to validate Order Number", what do I do?
A: This error is discussed in further detail on the Esri UK blog GeoXchange: http://communityhub.esriuk.com/journal/2012/11/1/unable-to-validate-order-numbers-in-productivity-suite.html

Q. What Happened to the Locator Toolbar?
A. The Locator toolbar was removed from ProductivitySuite in version 3.0, July 2012. This was in line with the decommission of MapsDirect gazetter service and the earlier retirement of GazOps (the underlying gazetteering product it was designed to connect to).

Esri UK are happy to announce that the Uniform Gazetteer Add-In is now available from the Downloads page on the ProductivitySuite web pages. The Add-In is compatible with ArcGIS 10.1 and above.

Q: How do I use locators with ProductivitySuite now that the Locator Hub toolbar has been retired?
A: Since the retirement of the Locator Hub toolbar, customers are advised to use the free Esri UK Online Services toolbar instead: http://www.esriuk.com/content-services/online-content-services/more-information/downloads-and-resources. Further details of how to use this toolbar as a replacement may be found in the following GeoXchange blog article: http://communityhub.esriuk.com/journal/2012/8/10/has-the-locatorhub-toolbar-vanished-in-productivity-suite-30.html If you have purchased LocatorHub you are able to point the Services Add-In at your local LocatorHub instance.
