With instant access to real-time data, you can make the right decisions faster. Elleni Rogers shows you how to use ArcGIS Velocity, the real-time and big data processing capability available with ArcGIS Online. See a demonstration of how to incorporate data feeds, apply analytics and draw data from multiple sources, as well as display your live information in the latest version of ArcGIS Dashboards.

Transport for West Midlands is a master at collating and using real-time data. Stuart Lester explains how the organisation combines live transport data from 17 public and private sector partners with crowd-sourced information, to create a single view of emerging issues across all modes of transport. Fiona Clowes and Mariano Palomares share their experiences of using this versatile new app creation tool and explain how it has helped Homes England engage more effectively with housing developers to accelerate the supply of new homes. Learn from their experiences and gain practical tips to help you with your first ArcGIS Experience Builder project.

Throughout the UK, all kinds of organisations are doing amazing work with ArcGIS, and we will showcase and recognise their achievements in our annual Customer Success Awards. In this session we will highlight some most pioneering projects, teams and individuals, championing transformation through innovative use of ArcGIS.

Geographic author and broadcaster Tim Marshall will share his views on international relations, at a time when nation states are jostling for position, and China and the USA are both battling for dominance. “The kaleidoscope has been shaken leading to an unsettling time,” he will say. Find out what he predicts for the rest of this decade and learn why he believes most countries will be forced to take sides between the two powers that will dominate the century.

In this final presentation of the day, Charles Kennelly and other members of the Esri UK team will venture to the cutting edge of ArcGIS. Over the course of just 30 minutes, they will explore how, by faithfully recreating our world, we can make better-informed decisions on the challenges of today and tomorrow.
