Travelling by train: If you’re arriving at Temple Meads Railway Station, you can get onto bus service 70 from the station and get off on Redcliffe Way. You’ll be steps away from the hotel. View the bus route planner.

Travelling by car: There is no on-site parking, however there is NCP car park adjacent to the hotel and pay-and-display/Ringo long stay car parks at The Grove and Redcliffe Parade.

Please be aware there are currently road restrictions in place around Redcliffe Bridge. As a result, access to The Bristol can only be made via Bristol Bridge taking the following route: From Victoria Street, left over Bristol Bridge into Baldwin Street, left into Marsh Street and across into Prince Street. The Bristol hotel will be on the right. Please exit the city via the same route.

Tim Marshall was Diplomatic Editor and foreign correspondent for Sky News. After thirty years’ experience in news reporting and presenting, he left full-time news journalism to concentrate on writing and analysis. He has published a number of critically acclaimed books including the Sunday Times best-seller: ‘Prisoners of Geography – Ten Maps That Tell You Everything You Need to Know About Global Politics’, which explores the role of geography in current affairs and history and has sold more than one and a half million copies worldwide. His latest book is the follow up to Prisoners - titled ‘Power of Geography’.

Simon Nigh will shed light on how this transformation was achieved using mobile data collection, custom applications, integration with property management databases and dashboards.

In this Learning Services workshop, you will gain hands-on experience of how to optimise the Data > Map > App workflow. Accessing authoritative data from the ArcGIS Living Atlas, you will use the new Map Viewer to build a simple web map, employing cartographic effects and even a bar chart. To complete the workflow, you will share the web map using Chart Viewer, one of the easily configurable ArcGIS Instant Apps.
