GIS - Integrating Everything, Everywhere

Esri UK invites you to take to the stage at the Esri UK Scottish Conference 2026 to share your stories and successes from across Scotland. We are looking for enthusiastic and inspiring speakers who can talk about their vision for the future and set out the steps they are taking with ArcGIS to achieve ambitious goals.

  • How it works

    Review the eligibility and requirements before submitting your abstract. Our committee will evaluate your abstract and make selections based on topic, content, and time available. All authors will be notified after the selection process.

  • Tips and guidelines

    Submissions should tell inspiring stories that illustrate how you are using Esri GIS technology to positively impact your communities and/or industries.

Eligibility and requirements

All submissions must include the following:

  • Presenter name(s)
  • Company name
  • Complete phone and email information
  • Presentation title (10 words or less)
  • Abstract (300 words or less): Do not include information in your abstract that will not be in your presentation.
  • What will attendees learn (100 words or less)
  • Brief presenter biography (100 words or less)

The information you enter will be published on the website and on the agenda. Avoid using words in all capital letters. Submissions must be in English. All papers and presentations must be noncommercial. The focus of presentations should be on how you've leveraged Esri technology to overcome a challenge and realised success in your project. At no time is it permissible for presenters to use their time slot to advertise or promote a product, service, or company.

Please note, all presentations will be recorded and shared on our website, YouTube and may be shared on social media.

Submission guidelines

  • Be clear

    What you submit is what you'll present. Nothing upsets attendees more than signing up for a session that's not as advertised.

  • Be enthusiastic

    Make sure your content is relevant, but also exciting. What invaluable information will you share during the session?

  • Be concise

    Who's the target audience? What products or topics does this session cover outside the topic? What roles specifically benefit from this session?

  • Be original

    Attendees want to see new presentations that cover the latest innovations in technology. Take the time to create well-written titles and abstracts, outlines, and select the appropriate audience and level.

  • Be educational

    Be sure your proposal doesn't sound like a sales pitch, but rather an exciting opportunity to learn something new.

  • Be specific

    Please provide any pertinent information that will help us understand your selection of a discipline. This will help us determine the appropriate topic category for your presentation.

Support for speakers

  • Two presenters

    Additional speakers are permitted from other parts of your business, to allow you to give a different perspective on your project and demonstrate the value delivered.

  • Coaching workshops

    Support can be offered to convert your story into an inspiring presentation, by attending our presentation workshop.

  • Presentation graphics

    PowerPoint guidance can be given to polish your final presentation, in line with your company branding.
