Accessibility & inclusivity

The EICC is a modern, purpose-built and fully-accessible events venue. The venue has been designed to be inclusive to people of all abilities and their team has received full Equality and Diversity Training. All main talks, sessions, and bathrooms are accessible and there are lifts to the lower and upper floors to access catering, bathrooms and training rooms.

  • Induction Loops are available, and two British Sign Language Interpreters will be available.
  • All guide, hearing and assistance dogs are welcome.
  • The venue is breast feeding friendly and there are baby changing facilities for all to use.
  • There will be a marked Gender-neutral disabled bathroom to use on the day.
  • There will be two designated Prayer Rooms with water available.
  • There will be a Silent Room available.

Getting to the Conference

    Edinburgh boasts two railway stations, Check Scot Rail or Trainline for more information on Waverley Station: 1.3 miles from EICC, with direct routes nationwide and Haymarket Station: Just 0.4 miles from EICC, serving commuter and UK routes. Check with your provider for stops.

    Edinburgh Trams operate between Airport and York Place. Closest stop to EICC is at Haymarket Station. Visit Edinburgh Trams website for details.

    Edinburgh's primary bus terminal is at St Andrews Square, offering connections across the UK. For routes, visit: National Express or City Link. For local services, check Lothian Buses.

    There are bike racks, at the main entrance on Morrison Street, and further racks behind the Atria One office building next to the EICC. For nearby routes, take a look at Edinburgh's cycle paths, many of which run close to the EICC.

    There is no on-site parking. Nearby parking options include Britannia Parking Scottish Widows (5-minute walk), and the Sheraton Hotel Car Park (2-minute walk).
