About the Mobile Worker user type

Improve efficiency and accuracy in field activities. With the Mobile Worker user type license, you can use apps for real-time data collection, tasking, and operations. Field technicians, maintenance supervisors, or volunteers are likely to find the  Mobile Worker user type a good match for their job responsibilities. The Mobile Worker is a dependent user type, which means it must be purchased with at least one foundational user type (GIS Professional or Creator) or added to an existing organisation.

Dependent user type

The Mobile Worker user type is a dependent user type. It must be purchased with at least one foundational user type (Creator or GIS Professional) or added to an existing organisation. Mobile workers need a foundational user type to create the maps and apps they use for data collection as well as administer their ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise organisation.
