ArcGIS is a key tool that helps many councils to review and process hundreds of planning applications every year.  Some local authorities, including the London Borough of Harrow, are now embedding 3D street-level data from Cyclomedia in their ArcGIS systems to enable them to view properties at their desktops alongside planning applications.
