Waterford City and County Council Launch New Planning Application Finder

Waterford City and County Council has launched a new Planning Application Finder; deployed using their ArcGIS Platform. This application is out of the box and is a responsive web design; it enables the public to find and view all planning applications received from 1st January in the case of the County and 1st January 2006 onwards in the case of Waterford City and Dungarvan Town In addition Waterford City and County Council have also launched an embedded map to show the locations of Planning Applications from the View Map link in ePlan – Simply choose last 7 days, pick an application and choose “View Map” to view it.

This is an excellent example of the power of geography, the passion of the GIS team at Waterford City and County Council and the ArcGIS Platform being used to great effect. Well done to the GIS team in Waterford.
