Esri UK and Planet Partner to Reveal Global Change with Unprecedented Visualisation and Analytics

Esri UK is today announcing the extension of their channel partner ecosystem through a new partnership with Planet, a global leader in the provision of Earth imagery. The agreement will enable Esri UK to resell Planet imagery alongside powerful Esri ArcGIS visualisation and analytical tools.

Esri’s commitment to helping solve some of the world’s most difficult problems aligns with Planet’s mission to image the entire Earth every day and make global change visible, accessible and actionable.

The partnership will leverage the existing technical integration announced at last year’s Esri User Conference by Planet CEO Will Marshall. Customers will be able to easily access, view and download Planet Basemaps from within their workflow for deep-level analysis using ArcGIS Pro geoprocessing tools. They will be able to build models, perform raster operations and apply machine learning to Planet’s analysis ready imagery data.

This powerful partnership will help customers maximise their investment in both GIS and imagery by providing a single solution for software and data.
