Frequently asked questions
There are three Report Builder for ArcGIS license types: A Builder User (able to create new and edit existing reports and report templates), a Publisher User (able to publish additional instances of an existing report), and Viewer User (able to view reports that have been shared with them). The license required depends on the way the reports generated are being used – please refer to the Service Definition for further information.
Yes. Report Builder for ArcGIS is a premium app and therefore requires users to have an ArcGIS Online Named User as a prerequisite as well as the required Report Builder for ArcGIS license. Details on which ArcGIS Online Named User licenses are required can be found in the Service Definition.

Yes. You can click to trial Report Builder for ArcGIS. This will give you access to a 30-day trial of 5 Report Builder licenses. Bespoke trials can be requested through sales@esriuk.com or your Customer Success Manager.
